Since setting up Land Research Associates in 1991, Malcolm Reeve
has been active in environmental assessment, land reclamation/contamination,
soils, hydrogeology and wastes-to-land while developing the
business base of Land Research Associates. He has acted as an
expert witness for planning inquiries into new housing developments
and quarries, and for litigation over soil and farm pollution.
He has an extensive publication record, including
authorship of chapters in several text books, and sits on
national technical and society committees. He is a member
of the UK Register of Expert Witnesses, a Chartered Scientist,
a Fellow and past president of the Institution of Professional
Soil Scientists, a Member of the Chartered Institution of
Water and Environmental Management and a member of the British
Institute of Agricultural Consultants.

Frank Heaven has an honours degree in soil science from the
University of Newcastle. He has published reports on the soils
and agriculture of several areas of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire
and South Yorkshire, correlated the inputs of various countries
for the Winter Rainfall Acceptance Map of Europe and has carried
out and published research in soil hydrology, particularly land
drainage, soil moisture regimes and crop water use.
He specializes in soil survey, agricultural
land classification and agricultural land use, geographic
information systems and is senior soil scientist on land reclamation
research and consultancy projects. He is a member of the Institution
of Professional Soil Scientists and is FACTS-certified for
giving advice on farm fertiliser use. |
